Successful Community Prevention Programs


The Executive Council of the Betty Ford Institute has identified the importance of prevention becoming fully integrated into communities. Recovery-oriented systems of care (ROSC) feature an ongoing process of systems improvement that incorporates the experiences of those in recovery and their family members, including children and youth. Utilizing a strengths-based, resilience focus, these systems integrate prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery support.
