Lance Hughes, manager of Betty Ford Center’s Five Star Kids, recently announced the upcoming schedule for the program.

“We believe in strong partnerships and work with numerous treatment programs, agencies and professional organizations to help create a network of support for children who love someone addicted to alcohol or other drugs,” said Lance.  “Children are usually the first hurt and the last helped in the midst of the disease of addiction.  We include parents and guardians in the recovery process to help create the best possible opportunity for healing for the whole family.”

In the months ahead, Five Star Kids will partner with the following organizations in the Dallas area:

Innovation 360 in Dallas

August 16-18

Recovery Resource Council in Ft. Worth

September 27-19

Since its launch in 1998, Five Star Kids has been offered throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in both community and school settings. Home base for the program is Irving, Texas (Las Colinas) where the majority of programs are held in the on-site offices.
